Position: Mid-Level iOS Developer

Location: Remote (Flexible)

Employment Type: Part-Time

Commitment: 10 hours per week to start, with potential to increase to 20 hours per week.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level iOS Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will contribute to the development, maintenance, and improvement of iOS applications, ensuring seamless performance and user experiences. You will collaborate with our cross-functional team, including designers, backend developers, android developers and QA, to deliver high-quality apps for our global clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain native iOS applications using Swift, UIKit and SwiftUI

  • Implement and manage app architecture using MVVM, MVVM-C, or Clean Architecture principles.

  • Work on Core Data, UserDefaults, Keychain, and modern database solutions

  • Integrate third-party services, APIs, and libraries.

  • Build and maintain features such as REST API integrations.

  • Ensure app functionality and performance through unit tests, UI tests, and performance optimization.

  • Work with App Store Connect for app submissions, managing certificates, and handling provisioning profiles.

  • Collaborate with the design team to create sleek, user-friendly interfaces.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues throughout the development lifecycle.

Work with Firebase tools for analytics, messaging, Firestore, and other features (preferred but not mandatory).

Requirements:

  • min 3 years of experience in iOS development.

  • Proficiency in Swift and strong knowledge of UIKit and SwiftUI.

  • Familiarity with Core Data, UserDefaults, Keychain, or other modern database frameworks.

  • Experience in implementing and maintaining design patterns such as MVVM, VIPER, or Clean Architecture. TCA will be plus

  • Knowledge of App Store submission processes and Apple’s guidelines.

  • Proficient in REST API integration and handling JSON.

  • Strong understanding of Combine and Concurrency.

  • Experience in Memory Management and Multithreading.

  • Familiarity with Firebase for authentication, analytics, and notifications is a plus.

  • Solid grasp of SOLID principles and Design Patterns (Gang of Four).

  • Experience with multiple targets for creating various app configurations.

  • Ability to work with agile methodologies and follow best practices.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in English for effective communication.
